Hi guys! Sorry I've been gone for so long, the holidays are always a busy time of year! I've read a few fantastic books since my last review, but the main one I wanted to talk about today is The Adventure Zone!

I've said before that I'm not usually a huge fan of graphic novels and comics, but this book totally changed the game for me! It's based on the popular podcast The Adventure Zone, a show where 3 brothers (The McElroy brothers, hosts of the podcast My Brother, My Brother and Me) and their father play a continuous game of Dungeons and Dragons together. The graphic novel tells the story of their D&D campaign, and of the shenanigans of Taako (an elf wizard with an affinity for fine food), Magnus (a human warrior who seems to be proficient at pretty much everything), and Merle (a dwarf cleric who's main talent appears to be getting injured.) Together these three unlikely friends set out on a mission to, well, you'll find out!

With beautiful illustrations and hilarious dialogue (especially when Griffin, the youngest brother and Dungeon Master butts in to the adventure), I'd recommend this book to any fantasy or comedy fan. You don't have to listen to the podcast to enjoy the book (personally, I liked the book more than the show), this book is a funny and exciting read!
