Hank's Book! Hank's Book! Hank's Book!

I was so excited waiting for this book to come out and I was not disappointed when it got here! Without further ado, let's get into the review!

23 year old graphic designer April May is living an ok life, working insane hours and living with her roomate-friend with benefits-maybe girlfriend Maya, when she stumbles across a statue at 3am in New York City. April makes a YouTube video with the statue that she dubs "Carl", which then goes viral, twisting April's existence into a reality horror show. At first, April enjoys the fame, but as she becomes more and more wrapped up in the increasingly ominous mystery of the Carls, fame begins to take more and more of April away.

It goes without saying that this book is totally different from any of his brother John Green's work (although no less brilliant!) and Hank has crafted a twisty-turny sci fi mystery that delves deeper into the true life of a celebrity in the digital age than any book I have seen before.

Read it!
