Hi everybody! I am so sorry! I haven't posted in almost 2 months, and that's just absurd. Would you guys like if I had a regular posting schedule, for instance if I tried to post once every two weeks or something? Let me know! I've read a couple books since the last time I posted, but this has been my favorite.

Shaker Heights is one of the first planned communities in the US, and it is perfect. Nothing is ever out of place, and people go about their perfect suburban lives. Nobody exemplifies this better than Elena Richardson and her four children.

Nobody counteracts Mrs. Richardson better than Mia Warren. An enigmatic and chaotic artist, Mia and her daughter Pearl arrive in the neighborhood and draw everybody into their complex and profoundly unplanned life. When Mrs. Richardson's family friend gets drawn into an ugly case for custody of a baby, Mia and Mrs. Richardson will be placed on opposite sides of the fence, Mrs. Richardson will stop at nothing to uncover just what in Mia's past makes the two of them so different.

This book is engrossing, complex and scary. Please read it.
