Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts, I've been unable to find the book I've been wanting to read for a while now. But in the mean time, this book!

Larry Montray is curious. And when it comes time for him to leave his home planet of Earth for the mysterious planet of Darkover, he can't wait. Everything about Darkover intrigues him, from the landscape to the bewildering Darkovan culture. But when Larry arrives, he finds himself locked in a city of other Earth natives and unable to access the outside world. Needless to say, this doesn't sit well with him, and when Larry happens upon a friendship with the son of a Darkovan aristocrat, it seems like the chance of a lifetime.

And trust me, it is.

This book was a very interesting read for me. I was expecting a classic spaceships-aliens-save-the-universe sci fi, but what I got was a medieval fantasy story that just happened to take place on a planet across the galaxy. I'd recommend it to any classic fantasy or sci fi fan, it was written engagingly and well!
