I found this book on a list of books similar to The Fault in Our Stars (which, given that I've talked about it in more than one post, I should probably review.) So I picked it up at a local shop and took it home, expecting it to be the same kind of love story as The Fault in Our Stars.

It was not.

It was smart and funny and brought new life to the pathetic teenage boy narrator style. This style is a little worn out, but with Greg, the narrator of this book it takes on a whole new, and even more hilarious form. This book was pee your pants funny. It's full of twists, including the ending, which is totally unexpected. It's almost impossible to put down, I read it in 2 sittings. The sad parts perfectly balance out the hilarity. Overall, amazing book. Maybe not the type of book to read if you're looking for another The Fault in Our Stars, but still a great read and totally original.
